Early Life
Angelina Jolie, the well-known actress, is the daughter of actors John Voight and actress Marcheline Bertrand. Her beautiful looks come from German and Slovak ancestry on her father’s side while French Canadian ancestry on her mother’s.

After her parent separation in 1976, she and her brother James Haven lived with their mother, who had forsaken her acting goal to focus on the upbringing of her children.
Rather than her father’s successful career, she takes an interest in acting by watching films with her mother. Still, at age 7, she had a bit part as a young child in Voight’s movie Lookin’ to get out in 1982.
She moved to New York with her mother, and her mother lived in boyfriend. After 5 years, she returned to Los Angeles and decided to be an actor.
Then Jolie enrolled at Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute at 11, where she took two years of training and participated in various stage productions.
Later, Angie enrolled at Beverly Hills High School, where she was bullied due to her mother’s modest income and extremely thinness, wearing glasses and braces. At the mother’s insistence, her early attempt was unsuccessful at modeling.
Then she moves to Moreno High School, an alternative school where she turns out to be a punk outsider, wearing all-black clothing, going out for moshing, and doing knife play with her live-in boyfriend.
After dropping out of acting classes, she desires to become a funeral director and starts taking home courses to embalm study.
At 16, she ended her relationship and graduated from high school, owning an apartment on rent. After that started her career in modeling and appeared in some music videos.
As a teenager, Angie started self-harming due to the complexity of connecting with people. She struggled with an eating disorder and insomnia and started using all types of drugs, specifically heroin. Later, she committed suicide two times at the age of 19 and 22.

Angelina Jolie Cancer Surgery
Angelina Jolie underwent a double mastectomy for breast cancer years back. It’s important to know what the procedure entails. The actress was diagnosed with a “high-risk” form of the disease in May 2016.
Doctors found that the actress’ cells had mutated to make them more aggressive and resistant to treatment. After undergoing a lumpectomy, a double mastectomy was recommended.
“It’s my body; it’s my choice,” Jolie said. Moreover, she said, “I have three beautiful children whom I love very much. This is something that I feel needs to be done.” Her doctors explained that she was at higher risk for recurrence because of her family history.
As a result, doctors removed both breasts to prevent any spread of cancer. Dr. Jennifer Gunter, a renowned oncologist, performed Jolie’s surgery at the UCLA Medical Center.
Angie Admitted to a Nervous Breakdown At 24
At 24, Jolie got a nervous breakdown and was admitted to UCLA Medical Center’s psychiatric ward for 72 hours. After two years after adopting her first child, she found stability in her life. Later, Jolie states, “I knew once I committed to Maddox, I would never be self-destructive again”.
Split from Brad Pitt

Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt in 2016 and requested only custody of their six children. Hence their controversial custody battle came up publicly with the allegation on Pitt that “after drinking on their private plan, he verbally abused and was physical with Maddox.”
The FBI, The Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services, founded an investigation but got no proof of abuse. The couple will pursue a joint statement that they were working together to decide on their divorce.
In September 2017, Joie revealed her separation story in Vanity Fair. She said by the summer of 2016, “things became difficult” in their marriage, but she defended their life together. She shared with the magazine, “our lifestyle was not in any way a negative.”
Further said, “That was not the problem. That is and will remain one of the wonderful opportunities we are able to give our children. … They’re six very strong-minded, thoughtful, worldly individuals. I’m very proud of them.”
It was revealed had the chances of losing primary custody of six children Jolie had increased after taking preventive steps seeing Pitt during their divorce case.
According to court documents, the judge declared that the kid’s lack of a healthy relationship with their father was “harmful,” and threatened to award Pitt primary custody if things didn’t change.
The judge suggested some steps the estranged couple could take, including providing Pitt with the cell phone number of each child, and outlined a summer visitation schedule to follow with Jolie in London to film Maleficent 2.
Jolie’s legal team filed court documents in August claiming her estranged husband had “paid no meaningful child support since separation,” an allegation that Pitt’s side disputed.
